15 Must Try Yoga Poses for Healthy Living #infographic

Even though I've been practicing yoga for almost three decades, I still find myself drawn back to the "simple" poses again and again. I've performed with more complex postures, but with the slightest risk, start-friendly, simple postures and methods seem to deliver the greatest long-term benefits. Without superhuman strength or mobility, we can activate and lubricate our joints, strengthen our posture and balance, stimulate digestion, increase energy, soothe the nervous system, and generate mental focus and clarity in any age or stage of life.

A soft twist is the yoga equivalent of pressing the reset button on our postural practices, releasing myofascial tension patterns around the torso, and promoting intervertebral disks between the spine's bones to plump up by immersing fluid from adjacent tissues. Twists can also boost our abdominal bodies, which benefit our digestion, and hence our vitality.
