I see very few discussions about how to spend or even the UI / UX benefits. Additional functionality, quality and reliability are usually included in the priority list. I find it's uncomfortable (and I'm not just a UI programmer!). Investing in your company's user interface has a potential very high ROI, which many SaaS companies ignore. And it doesn't seem that hard.
This applies in particular to products with a higher churn rate than desired (usually indicating that the technology is not easy to use or is not sufficiently consistent with user's lives). So why is the UI / UX ROI increased so much? It is difficult to measure the exact ROI because the various metrics are the same for each service.
As a rule, each dollar returns $10-$100 in companies that regularly concentrate on UI / UX upgrades. It's because you don't have to increase the cost of modifying part of your SaaS product linearly. Project concentrations save costs, especially early in the product's development cycle.
