For many years, microplastic contamination has been a topic discussed by environmentalists. A comprehensive study in early January revealed that microplastics are present in every part of the environment, classifying them as a global environmental issue and bringing mainstream attention to this issue.
They are not a new plastic type, but small plastics fragments of any kind. As we all know, decomposing plastic takes a tremendous amount of time, but external factors break plastic into smaller pieces, creating greater pollution.
