Facebook Redesigns Its Layout for Desktop #Article

Recently, Facebook has announced that its web interface has been modified and some users have already started to see it. The new layout has a more compact view and at the top of the screen there are tabs.

Back in May 2019, Facebook announced the new interface and it's shocking that it took so long to make it available. Yet Facebook slowly gave some people access to the new interface and focused on the suggestions they provided for a better layout.

When Facebook has made the new interface open to you, the new features will be alerted to you in your newsfeed, where the app will invite you to explore.

You can't request access at this stage, as it is only accessible to a small number of users. It will expand the interface to a large scale by April, according to Facebook. That would be nearly a year after Facebook announced the update.

Facebook hasn't added any tools or features to the upcoming layout, but it has improved desktop navigation since it was Facebook's goal to make the desktop version similar to its mobile version while making it easier for users to switch between the two.

This is something that consumers will look forward to this year, it is expected to be fully launched in the first half of 2020, but given the previous delays, we can not be sure.
