As avid consumers we all have a strong preference for the quality of one business over another. Whether it's our personal care items like toothpaste and shampoo or a fashion apparel brand–usually we go for the brands that have proven fruitful to us over the years.

Recently, a fascinating study was conducted by marketing agency MBLM –entitled' Product Intimacy Research' in this regard, where they surveyed Americans and questioned about the products they actually can not survive without.

Google's tech giant toped the list with about 41 per cent of users claiming they couldn't live without their products and services. At 33 per cent loyal users, Apple and Amazon followed close behind. Video streaming service, YouTube has become more popular in users ' eyes by landing from rank ten last year on sixth place.

Several businesses making the cut include digital music service providing Spotify, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz car makers, Apple, AT&T, Twitter and Head & Shoulders. Walmart's leading department chain and grocery store was also part of the list as one of the only fresh food source in some parts of the U.S.

Notably, beverage companies such as Coca-Cola were missed in the top 12 list and dropped to rank 17 in 2020 from its number 4 position last year. This potentially underscores American's desire for healthier options, particularly with rising obesity.
