Time is money so, unlike some, you have to be as productive as possible. The world is changing with globalisation. The rate in which we work is increasing by seconds; to increase your productivity, you must schedule your day before it starts. Planning can save your money, and help you stay on track instead of wasting your time on unimportant tasks. The first thing you need to do most is do the prioritized jobs, make a to-do list. Priority should be given to tasks which are important and urgent.

How to save time at work: 

Start your day 1 hour earlier: 

at the meetings we spend 60 percent of our time on emails; we move tasks every 3 minutes on average. We only have three productive hours each day and it takes up to 25 minutes to get the focus back on it. The tip to fix this starts 1 hour earlier in your day. 73 percent of people think that the morning hours are our best for innovation, that is to say, you can complete 25 percent more tasks by going to the office 1 hour before. While 63 percent say they feel more productive in the morning, start your day with writing a to - do list and three top priorities. Choose the job with the most difficulty to be at first.

Saving email time: 

The average worker spends 13 hours a week answering emails. Turn off notifications, this way you can save your day by 90 minutes. An average white-collar worker spends about 6 hours on emails every day; you can set aside 3-5 times checking emails but not more than that.

Do's of Productive Day, and Don't:


  1. Build a weekly work schedule
  2.  Learn to say NO 
  3. Wear headphones for concentration 
  4. Attend only important meetings 
  5. Turn off notifications 
  6. Stack up and do similar tasks together

  2. Don't say yes to every job, and ask.
  3. Don't let the noise from office bother you
  4. Do not devote too much time to meetings
  5. Don't check your emails 30 + times a day
  6. Don't engage in multitasking
The first thing you need to do is know the importance and urgency of each task; you'll always work alongside your team. Delegating tasks would make you and your teammates more successful straight away. Identify the strength of your Teammate. Remember that your plans will specify how much time you spend on each task; that way, you'll manage your time and know your productivity. Consider the do's and the don'ts, and follow through on your day. Everyday preparation will help you save time and allow you to perform the tasks on time without wasting any of your days.
