The strain on the brands has never increased in a digital-first environment. The culture's always on' meaning there is no longer any gap between you and your audience. From customer service through your social channels, to the need to be multiple times in front of your audience across multiple platforms, businesses demand their marketing departments more than ever.

But are you outsourcing a company or creating an in-house team? One of the most difficult parts of running a business is finding and retaining the right talent, but it can be even more overwhelming when you are looking for experience in a different industry to the one you are dealing in. It's one of the many reasons that partner firms compete for this. Not only do you have access to a wider range of marketing tools and expertise, but you also have more flexibility about when and how much resource you require.

It can also be more cost-effective as well–the real cost of recruiting someone is said to be two and a half times their wage by having a factor in benefits, tax, pension schemes, holiday and sick pay, plus training and equipment.

That does not automatically mean, of course, that this is the right match for you. Many companies tend to have someone more involved in their squad, where they have a deeper understanding of your brand and the way you work.
