Eating Habits During a Pandemic #infographic

A global pandemic is affecting a great deal about how people live. Many are having to adapt to a new lifestyle of eating at home with the lack of dining out choices and the failure to visit grocery stores. Until COVID-19 Americans averaged 5.9 days a week to eat out, and of their total food spending, supermarket transactions accounted for just 7 percent of food consumption. Now supermarket prices have improved dramatically and prices in the U.S. outlets were up 306 per cent for oat milk, 13 per cent for fruit snacks and 10 per cent for dried beans.

Restaurants and grocery stores alike have to change their way of working not only because of changing shopping and eating patterns, but also because they have to obey CDC guidelines. Such new circumstances can change the behaviors of people but they don't need to keep Americans from staying healthy and eating well at home. Find out more in the Infographic below.
