Regardless of the coronavirus epidemic, the US government is fighting the idea of removing restrictions imposed on businesses and residents.

Several groups of protesters took to statehouses last weekend and requested that the authorities open the country again. The demonstrators, egged on by President Donald Trump, accused government and health officials of limiting their rights and liberty.

As a result, the Minnesota state has relaxed restrictions and reopened its comprehensive outdoor recreation business offering.

Several other states are also expected to 'wind down the closure' before May 1 according to the list compiled by USA Today. This covers Ohio, Nebraska, North Dakota, Idaho, Georgia and Tennessee.

Among these states, with 644 and 1,766 cases respectively, only North Dakota and Idaho are least affected by the coronavirus. Other states, however, that are soon reopening are still seeing a number of diagnoses of COVID-19 per day with Georgia hitting more than 20,000 confirmed cases, Ohio 13,725, Colorado 10,460, and Tennessee with 7,394.

States that have seen the worst effects from the Texas, South Carolina and Pennsylvania coronavirus are now making changes to their lockout strategy. Texas has reopened its state parks, with over 21,035 diagnoses.

Also, Vermont plans to reopen its farmers' market by next week. The state of Green Mountain reported 823 coronavirus cases and 40 deaths.
