Some of the most famous characters in pop culture are associated with their hairstyles and/or head-accessories. Today we tend to be at some of the most readily identifiable hairstyles to grace our televisions ever.

Hairstyles are continually changing and evolving, so we don't just talk about the ultra-modern craze of shaved heads we see on Instagram any more. People are continually coming up with new and innovative things they can do with their hair, and we can also find such trends that are reflected in pop culture.

Some hairstyles have even become so iconic (such as the Fifties beehives or the 1980s mullets) that we can flip on an ancient television show and guess round when it was once filmed primarily based on the characters' hairstyles alone.

Of course, pop lifestyle occasionally ends up starting a style as a substitute rather than simply reflecting it. Just take an look at the Friends TV show's famous "Rachel" haircut and you'll see what I mean. Then, there are the hairstyles that appear as recognizable instantly even though we can not recreate them by chance, like the "Marge Simpson" or the "Johnny Bravo"

As you can see with this infographic, in fact the hair does render the character from time to time. See how many you can catch by fashion alone at these sixty-five well-known hairdos!
