In 2019, one in ten Americans had been working from home at least once a week, but with Covid-19 gradually closing companies across the world, more employers are sending their workers home indefinitely. But at-home workers would be too distracted by the events of daily life that take place around them? Will they be concentrated, and productive?

Indeed, while decreasing stress rates and having a better work-life balance, the vast majority of remote employees improve productivity and concentration. With staff at homeworking organisations, 106 per cent have more dedication at work. Showing trust in workers makes 76 per cent of workers feel more engaged in assignments.

Trust also means lower stress levels, with the study finding that 74 per cent of employees claim they feel valued when working remotely reduces stress levels. Forty percent of workers say that when they feel appreciated at their business they are less likely to be burnout. While feeling respected while working at home, 29 per cent report a higher overall satisfaction with their lives.
