Mapping a profession is typically the expression of the second move afterwards. It includes seeing the whole of your career from multiple viewpoints and structuring your skills in that order. For example, if you have skills in different geographic areas , i.e. in North America, Asia , Latin America, or even various countries within a country in a similar area or multiple locations, it all adds up.

Similarly, it is worth noting whether your job involved handling people or maintaining stakeholder relationships with people from different roles or agencies. See this article for detailed, step by step instructions.

On average there are 1.73 resumes in the job market for each worker. The median per capita number of resumes is one. In addition, an average of 250 resumes are screened for every work position. Not only that, on average each curriculum resume has just a tad less than 400 words.

This simply means that for every job and every recruiter there are just too many resumes out there to be screened. In addition to a large number of resumes, there are also more terms to browse through for recruiters.

While a one-pager resume document is suitable to a fresher or individuals in junior roles, expert recruiters agree that experienced professionals require two pages of resume at the very least.
